FOUR COURSE COMPOST: Food for your soil. This nutrient-rich compost is made from a unique feedstock that includes food scraps and yard trimmings. It encourages leafy growth and succulence, increases microbial activity, promotes strong root systems, and improves soil structure. This is a favorite of vineyard managers and organic farmers. The Organic Materials Review Institute (OMRI) has approved Four Course Compost for use in organic production. It is screened to about 3/8 inch and available in bulk.
SUPER ORGANIC COMPOST: Consists of OMRI Listed Four Course Compost, Wonder Grow Compost, Rice Hulls Organic Sulfur, "Groganics" and Gypsum. Super Organic Compost introduces organic matter to improve soil structure and to provide a balanced blend of macro- and micronutrients. Super Organic Compost is ready to use as a soil conditioner, planting and potting mix in raised gardens and planting boxes. Nurseries rave about this special blend.
JPO TOPSOIL: This premium topsoil contains OMRI Listed Four Course Compost, Wonder Grow Compost, Rice Hulls, Redwood Sawdust, Sandy Loam, and Gypsum. This mix is great for topsoil replacement, direct seeding, lawn care, soil repair, and raised garden beds.
PRAIRIE DYNAMICS: Biodynamic compost is a fundamental component of biodynamic farming and gardening, which uses ecologically sustainable practices. Prairie Dynamics incorporates BD preparations 502-507 and serves as a way to recycle food scraps and organic wastes, stabilize nitrogen, build soil humus, and enhance soil health.
JPO ROCK PHOSPHATE COMPOST: Rock Phosphate is added to OMRI Listed Four Course Compost to create an amendment that boosts phosphate-deficient soils, making the essential mineral more available to plant roots and increasing nitrogen retention in the compost. Adding phosphate also provides calcium, iron, and a broad spectrum of trace elements. This special blend is beneficial to farms and vineyards after harvest.
JPO LOAM MIX: A high-quality 50/50 blend of OMRI Listed Four Course and Sandy Loam. It is pH-balanced and contains high levels of organic matter. The 50/50 blend allows both for the immediate availability of nutrients to plant roots and the long-term, slower release of nutrients as needed. Great for topdressing lawns, filling raised beds, improving garden soil, and more.
